Yesteryear Collection

This 1931 Morris Courier van was chosen by Classic Toys magazine to be an ideal publicity model.
The van body is typical of the streamlined style of commercial coachbuilding of the Thirties and compliments the Art Deco design applied to the body sides.

Medium weight commercial vans such as these were often used by newspaper and magazine publishers as they had the attributes of reliability and manoeuvrability combined with size and performance to swiftly deliver the product in good time.

The livery was actually inspired by an illustration of a paint manufacturer's delivery van in a similar colour scheme. Signwriting was a skill recognised as a valid way of advertising products in those early days.
